Personality Changes Before and After

Certaintly, a longstanding mood disorder-especially if it has not been treated-canprofoundly affect your attitudes, habits, and styles of relating to others. It can also require lifestyle changes that are a lot like changes in personality. But if you were really free of your mood disorder symptoms for a long period of time, would you go back to being the way you were before the illness began?

It took 7 years from the time I was treated for depression to be diagnosed bi-polar. Do I need to re learn a new attitude, habits, and styles of relating to others?

  2. Is there a lg previous discussion attached to these comments? Being unaware of what precipitated them, I would like to add from what I can read that we all make adjustments through our lives. We learn overtime what we do that hurts others or puts them on the defensive. We learn we don't always make the impression we would like to. If we choose to be more empathetic, kinder, more sincere, good for us. My personal changes over the years have been numerous and have been done without compromising who I am. Our prayers and love as you find the answer to your questions. Kiora is right you will be the best Tanya you can be. (funny...you have to be Tanya, everyone else is taken)

  4. Remeber that you can only be who you are. Your personality may change over the years and not always for the good. But you will always be loved regardless.
